In the app (fastest)
- Open Rupend and go to Accounts.
- Scroll to Your account and tap Delete my account.
- Optionally tell us why (it's anonymous), then confirm. Rupend shows you, step by step, what was deleted.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app or your phone, email rupend.app@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Rupend account". We will confirm by email and delete your account within 7 days.
What is deleted
- From our server, immediately: your account and email address, settings, email choices and consent records, subscription record, your state and city (if you shared them), and your bank-link (Account Aggregator consent) records.
- From your phone (when you delete in the app): all Rupend data, its encryption keys, and scheduled notifications.
What we keep — anonymously
- An anonymous count that an account was deleted (the date and which plan it was on).
- The reason you chose to give, if any — with no name, email or ID.
- Records of payments, needed for our accounts and tax law, with your email and user ID removed.
None of these can be linked back to you.
What we can't delete for you
- Your subscription — cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions (or iPhone Settings → Subscriptions) so you aren't charged again.
- Your bank's SMS messages, which belong to your messaging app.
- Files you exported from Rupend, which stay where you saved them.
