1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company name] Private Limited ("Rupend", "we", "us") for using the Rupend app and website. By creating an account you accept them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.
2. What Rupend is — and is not
Rupend shows you your online spending — UPI, card and bank payments — using information you allow it to read. Rupend is not a bank, payment service, lender or investment adviser. It cannot move your money. It does not give financial, investment or tax advice; any summaries are for your information only.
We work hard to show every payment correctly, but banks and messages vary, so Rupend may occasionally miss or mis-categorise a payment. Please check important figures against your bank statements before relying on them.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give a valid email address you control.
- Keep your phone and email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Use Rupend only for your own accounts, or accounts you are authorised to view.
4. Subscriptions and the free trial
- Rupend costs ₹99 a month or ₹999 a year, including GST, unless a different price is shown to you before you buy.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, once per person. We remind you 2 days before it ends. If you don't cancel before it ends, your plan starts and you are charged.
- Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Payment is taken by Google Play or the App Store, under their terms. For yearly plans we remind you 7 days before renewal.
- Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or on iPhone in Settings → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If we ever change a price, we will tell you in advance, and the new price applies only from your next renewal after the notice.
5. Refunds
Refunds follow our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits any refund you are entitled to under Indian consumer law.
6. Fair use
Please don't misuse Rupend: no attempts to access other people's data, break our security, reverse-engineer the service to harm it, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does, after telling you why where we can.
7. Bank linking through Account Aggregators
Bank linking uses licensed Account Aggregators under RBI rules. The consent you give is between you, your bank and the Account Aggregator; you can review or revoke it in the Account Aggregator's app at any time. Rupend never asks for your bank password or PIN.
8. Our content
The Rupend name, logo, app and website belong to us. You may use them to use Rupend; you may not copy or resell them.
9. Responsibility
We provide Rupend with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from decisions made using Rupend's figures, from a bank or store outage, or from things outside our reasonable control. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits responsibility that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time in the app (Accounts → Your account → Delete my account) — see how deletion works. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in Google Play or the App Store too.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects you materially, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly. Any dispute is subject to the courts at [city], India.
